We are up and at it early here at OVMS! Today we host the 7th grade WIC tournament while our 8th grade team plays at Edgewood. Come see our boys in action starting with their first game at 11:30 am. #socsowen #beawesometoday

Mr. Cline, S-OCS Superintendent, recently met with a group of OVMS students to conduct a roundtable discussion. Students were treated to pizza and were able to share their ideas and concerns. #socsowen

Mrs. Tucker’s Adulting Club met Friday and with help of the Owen County Homemakers Club, worked on threading a needle and sewing on a button. #socsowen #beawesometoday





Our True Patriot Award Winners for Quarter 2 were recently announced. Congratulations to these students for their good work ethic and citizenship characteristics. They will have a special lunch on January 25. #socsowen #beawesometoday


There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 16, 2023.
This date was listed in our S-OCS 2022-2023 school calendar as a built-in make-up snow day, if needed.
Since we have not had any cancellations, school will not be in session on this "extra" built-in make-up day.


Patriot Manufacturing is planning to sell OV items during lunches today and at the boys/girls game tonight at 6 pm.


Students in Mr. Potts’ & Mrs. Tucker’s science class scoured the school looking for areas they predicted would have high levels of bacteria. They tested their findings and were surprised! The floors are definitely the worst! Maybe that 3 second rule isn’t a good idea! #socsowen
