Principals Carol Watson (GES) and Dr. Mike Robison (PES) traveled to Indianapolis with 3rd grade teachers Bethan Roberts (PES) and Davida Truax (GES) to be recognized for their outstanding reading results.
They were recognized by the State of Indiana’s Department of Education for achieving Indiana’s literacy goal of 95% or more of their third graders reading proficiently. Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Katie Jenner addressed the audience and presented the certificates.
PES and GES were two of only 241 schools to be recognized in Indiana.
