Thanks to a generous grant from our friends at the Owen County Community Foundation and funding from our Ready Schools grant, OVMS is gaining a new makerspace area for their students.
Currently under construction, the Y.E.S. Makerspace will feature custom areas for Snapmakers (CNC, Laser, Engraver), Glowforge Engravers, Cricuts, and other STEM-related equipment.
OVMS 8th graders will have the opportunity to take the Y.E.S. Design Lab class as an elective during the school year.
