Each Wednesday, Spencer-Owen Community School staff members meet after school with their Professional Learning Community (PLC) to discuss how to increase student learning by examining data and planning effective instruction.
The Indiana Department of Education recently conducted the process of streamlining our current state standards to focus on essential skills and knowledge while promoting a rigorous learning environment.
This semester, all S-OCS staff will be focusing on updating our Curriculum Maps to reflect the mandated prioritization of standards required by the IDOE. These essential standards will be reflected in our Curriculum Maps beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.
