The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to begin bridge work next week on State Road 43 in Owen County.
On or after Monday, August 21, 2023, State Road 43 will close for approximately 3 months at the bridge over Raccoon Creek, which is located 4 miles north of State Road 48.
During the closure, crews will replace the bridge deck and traffic will be routed along the official detour that follows State Road 46, I-69, and State Road 48.
Please plan for extra travel time to/from school while this bridge is closed for repairs.
