OVHS students in Mrs. Jennifer Hart's class recently participated in a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Project. This was sponsored by Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and Youth Service America (YSA).
The students created over 100 postcards to share with residents at McCormick's Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Students wrote inspirational quotes, words of love, fun world facts, illustrations, Bible verses, and funny jokes. The students really enjoyed creating these cards for the residents!
