Eight high school students recently attended the "Be A Teacher Day" Conference at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Students from all over the State of Indiana who are interested in a career in education gathered to hear from Tara Cocanower, the IDOE's 2023 Teacher of the Year. She delivered her message of "Be a Teacher. Change the World."
Students were given the opportunity to connect with numerous college representatives to learn about their programs, hear about paying for college, and interact with current college students pursuing a career in education.
