Authentic, hands-on learning is learning designed to connect what students are taught in school to real-world issues, problems, and applications.
Just before Fall Break, English 11 Honors students worked in groups to develop advertising for either Patriot Manufacturing or FFA. They presented their ideas to board members (students) using the collaboration stations in the Future Center. The respective organizations are planning to use the best ads to sell/promote their products in the school.
