It is important to keep consistency for your student during these challenging times.  We recommend creating a daily routine for your student.  The schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of your family.  We have provided many resources below to help you and your family during this unprecedented time.   

Daily Schedules

  • Your student's teacher has provided your student with daily lessons. We have some sample daily schedules (under each grade level band) to help give you ideas of how to organize the supplemental/enrichment resources,  that we have provided on our website.

We have included various resources that explains how to use the resources/supplemental materials we've provided, as well as articles with general advice on how to support students during these unique times.

Khan Academy Example Schedules for School Closures: Khan Academy has created with resources, Podcasts, journaling, etc.  This is a great resource for families that are looking for an optimal day of learning for their students.

Zero to Three- Young Children at Home: This article discusses how to manage self-care around young children during the COVID-19 outbreak.

ASU for You: Arizona State University's online site that provides free online tutoring.  Each day is designated to a certain subject. 

PBS Parent: This PBS site has academic resources, in addition to ideas on how to interact with your child during the Coronavirus pandemic. 

TEDEd: This site provides you resources to spark and celebrate your child's ideas. 

Indiana's Call and Learn: This is a resource for families without internet access.  A group of Indiana retired teachers have volunteered to take calls from families, regarding any questions over work assigned.
