Early Childhood

It is important to keep consistency for your child during these challenging times.  We recommend creating a daily routine for your child.  The schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of your family.  The resources below may be helpful to incorporate into a daily routine.  We will continue to add resources, so please check back.   

Learning Activities

Storyline Online: Stories Read Aloud 

Starfall: Online reading and math activities 

Teach Your Monster to Read: Gives students practice identifying letters and sounds, to eventually be reading full words and sentences.  (Computer version is completely free).

ABC Mouse: An online early learning platform, that address many subjects, such as reading, math, social studies, and science.   

IDOE Early Learning Framework: The Indiana Department of Education has dedicated a page to multiple resources for students ages birth to five.

Nature Walk Checklist: This document provides you with a nature walk scavenger hunt for you and your child to do together. Pictures are provided for early pre-readers.
