Mallory Hey

Hello there! My name is Mallory Hey and I'm an inclusion teacher for third grade and fourth grade at Spencer Elementary. I graduated from Indiana University in 2019 with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I'm so happy to be teaching in the community I grew up in! I graduated from OVHS in 2015. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and reading. I hope you are excited for a great school year!

I work alongside  classroom teachers to implement students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). My role with every student is different, but can include providing interventions, in class support, accommodations, developing behavior plans, and/or modifying assignments.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s IEP and any supports that they receive, you can contact me by phone, email, or ParentSquare. If your child’s classroom teacher uses Class Dojo, I am connected for you to message me that way too.

On E-Learning Days, I will contact all parents of my students to offer support and provide accommodations. I will have an office hour from 10 am to 11 am on a Google Meet available via Google Classroom to assist students with assignments provided by their classroom teacher. I am flexible and can help students any time before 4pm as well. You can reach me with the contact information below. If you have any questions, please let me know!
