My name is Kim Henson. I have been working in the Spencer-Owen Community School Corporation since 2006. This will be my 8th year teaching fourth grade at SES. My husband Jay and I have four children, Joshua, Jordyn, Josiah, and Jaydyn, all who have attended SES. All four and their spouses are either teachers or athletic directors.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, antiquing, crafting, gardening, reading, and spending time with my family. Our first granddaughter, Charlie Grace, was born in June of 2019. Being Gammy to Charlie has been such a blessing. Our family traveled to Destin, Florida this summer. Watching Charlie experience the ocean for the first time was pure joy.
Each of my students enter my classroom with unique personalities and different experiences. Not only am I looking forward to teaching them academically, but I am also excited to help them become their very best. Together, with a growth mindset, we will climb the ladder of success and become the best fourth graders we can be.

Students should check their email by 9:00am for a list of the day's assignments and to know our Google Meet times.
Students should complete all assignments in Google Classroom.
Students can email with questions.
I will be available to answer questions in a Google Meet from 1-2pm each day.
