Hello, I am Brittany Duncan and I am a PreK Teacher at Spencer Elementary School. This is my first year as a full time PreK teacher with SOCS, but have over 15 years of experience working in and out of the classroom with children and their families. I am a graduate of Clay City High School and Purdue University, where I studied Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs and Early Intervention. My career path has allowed me to work with children and their families as an assistant teacher, lead teacher, behavior therapist, and care manager. I am excited to be back in the classroom, especially here at SES! I love working with the younger children due to their constant curiosity and excitement of learning. I love seeing a child accomplish something for the first time on their own and seeing the look of accomplishment on their face!
