My name is Emily and I am the counselor at Patricksburg Elementary! Here are some things I do as a counselor:
Behavioral and academic counseling
Bridge Between Students, Administrators, Teachers and Parents.
Maintain Student Records.
Make Referrals to Outside Agencies.
Identify and Address Issues That Interfere With Education.
Group counseling
Help students with their goals and objectives.
I graduated in 2020 from Indiana Wesleyan University with my Bachelors in Social Work and in 2021 with my Masters in Social Work. I have since worked in mental health care at IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Centerstone, working with children and families in the community.
