About Me: I began teaching at Owen Valley in 1994 and have been at the high school since 2001. I have a Master's degree in Language, Literacy, and Culture from Indiana University with certifications in English, Reading, and Speech. I have 3 adult daughters and 2 grandsons. My husband is also a father of three and the grandfather of 2, so we keep very busy!

Grading Scale: 45% each semester/ 10% Final Exam

All assignments are posted on Canvas and follow the English department policy. Late assignments not excused can be made up at 50% of the total. Summative assignments that are late will be worth no more than 70%.
