All About Mrs. Kelley
Hello! My name is Mrs. Kelley. This is my 11th year at MCES and my sixth year in third grade. My previous years have been teaching in reading interventions and in the library. I live with my husband, David, in Spencer. We have three children. My oldest, Jacob, is out of school and is a welder. Mason graduated last year from OVHS and is currently working at Boston Scientific. Kiera will be starting her junior year at OVHS and likes to bake. I know it’s a little different this year but I’m excited to be your 3rd grade teacher! It’s going to be a great year full of new discoveries.
I will be teaching math to all third graders this year. I’m excited to hear what you know about math and can’t wait to see you discover new ways to solve problems. We will be learning all about multiplication and division this year. We will also develop an understanding of fractions and we’ll dive a little deeper into measurement, money, time, and shapes.
