My name is Emily and I am the counselor for Gosport Elementary school. Here are some things I do:

• Behavioral and academic counseling

• Bridge Between Students, Administrators, Teachers and Parents.

• Maintain Student Records.

• Make Referrals to Outside Agencies.

• Identify and Address Issues That Interfere With Education.

• Group counseling

• Help students with their goals and objectives.

I enjoy working in the schools! I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with my bachelors in social work in 2020 and my Masters in social work in 2021. I have worked in mental health care at IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Centerstone with families and children in the community.

I also enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks, traveling, and trying new things!
