Principal's Message

As a former SES student, I am very excited serve as principal of Spencer Elementary School. I am thrilled to meet and work with all of you to make this year one of the best years at Spencer Elementary!

Our goal is to continually improve our ability to meet the needs of all students and to increase our ability to effectively communicate with parents. We will continue to focus our efforts on improving reading comprehension, math problem-solving skills, and writing at all grade levels.

As a C.L.A.S.S. school, we focus on doing the right thing and treating people right. Your child will not only receive academic lessons, but learn valuable life lessons through our character education. We will focus on the Life Goals of “Do the Right Thing” and “Treat People Right.” You will hear your child talking about Lifelines throughout the year. These Lifelines are character traits such as respect, integrity, truthfulness, patience, etc. As a school, we will focus on one Lifeline per month and your children will teach each other through our Lifeline Buddies.
We encourage you to take the opportunity to meet our teachers and explore ways to become involved in our school.  We are fortunate to have a very involved and enthusiastic P.T.O., and they are always happy to welcome new volunteers!
My vision for Spencer Elementary is for us to constantly demonstrate our commitment to excellence through our expectations for our students. We will show our students how much we care for them by expecting all of them to succeed and excel. We look forward to seeing you throughout the school year!

Please, don’t hesitate to contact us if you need anything. See you soon!
